The Truffle ceremony

What does the truffle ceremony look like at Innerlijke-reis? First of all, we offer you a cup of tea when you arrive and you get to know all the participants and guides of the truffle ceremony. You will be told how the day goes, what you can experience during a truffle ceremony and how you can respond to this and what the role of the guides is. Of course you can ask questions so that you only start the ceremony when you are ready. After all the questions have been asked, the participants can change clothes. It is recommended to wear white or light clothing.

The group ceremony takes place in an warm and safe place. Mattresses and blankets are provided so you can get into a comfortable position or lie down if you need to. We start the ceremony with a joint prayer and setting the intentions. Then you will be offered the magic truffles. You can get some extra if needed.

Guidance during the Truffle ceremony

You can safely undergo all the experiences you will have to deal with during the ceremony, there are experienced guides who can lovingly assist you. Most of our guides have a care, nursing and/or therapeutic background. They also have experience with spiritual and energetic work. So you can be assured that they have experience in guiding truffle ceremonies and all the processes that go with it. Some guides have a diploma for the Ayahuasquero/process therapist training.

About the guides

During the ceremony you will be assisted by loving and experienced guides. All ceremony leaders and most Innerlijke-reis guides have a therapeutic and/or nursing/care background. Furthermore, the facilitators are familiar with spiritual and energetic work, have a lot of experience with life, experience with Psilohuasca/Truffles/Ayahuasca/other entheogens and with guiding ceremonies. A number of the counselors at Innerlijke-reis have also completed the training as Ayahuascquero / process therapist.

Eva and Quinne, guides of Innerlijke-reis, completed the psycho trauma training for HBO plus abyss in 2019. This is to be able to guide the participants even better in their process before, during and after the ceremony. In 2019 Quinne completed the Kambo Practitioner training at The IAKP – International Association of Kambo Practitioners.

Iva accompanies group ceremonies at Innerlijke Reis and is also a psychologist. Iva also offers individual treatment trajectories within Inner Journey, in which therapy conversations are alternated with one or more (individual) Psilohuasca ceremonies. Iva also provides individual pre- & aftercare, before or after a ceremony.

Innerlijke-reis has a network of professionals that we can call on if necessary. Think of a Doctor, Pharmacist, Psychologist, Psychiatrist and Coaches. All ceremony leaders and a number of supervisors are BHV trained. Erik and Quinne have completed the training to become a breathing coach. Eva, Erik and Quinne are currently following the Psychotropic Plants course.

Skills of guides

There are various skills that the guides have, such as a chakra foot massage, breathing support or tuning fork healing. These skills can be given as support during a ceremony. Your individual process during a ceremony is the starting point for the guides and Innerlkijke-reis ensures that the skills of the guides match the needs of the participant. The duration of a ceremony is about 6 to 8 hours.

Closing ceremony

After the ceremony we close with a joint prayer of thanks for the magic truffles. We also inform you about possible side effects that you can expect after a ceremony and how to deal with them. You will receive fresh soup with bread and a fruit salad after the ceremony to regain your strength and if you want you can share your experiences with the other participants and/or guides.

Most participants are perfectly able to go home after eating, chatting, taking a walk, and sometimes a little longer rest. Not all participants are able to drive home safely after the ceremony, there is an option to stay overnight.

Staying overnight

If necessary or desirable, you can stay overnight at the location in the vicinity of Zutphen, for a fee of €25 for the owner of the location. All facilities are available. Your safety is paramount, which is why it is sometimes wiser to stay overnight at the location. Sometimes participants already opt for this in advance because of the peace of mind this gives.

Keep in mind that you may have to stay overnight at the location.

Some participants arrange for someone to bring and collect them, which can also be very nice. It is not possible to stay overnight at the location in Ede, but there are several hotels nearby. Taking magic truffles can be very confronting in some cases. During the truffle ceremony you are asked to look in the mirror and be willing to do so. We at Innerlijke-reis feel a great responsibility towards the magic truffles and have deep respect for them. We therefore ask everyone to show gratitude, reverence and respect for the magic truffles.

Individual or duo ceremony

If you prefer to experience a ceremony individually or as a duo, you can choose to make an appointment for this. Individual and Duo ceremonies can be held by appointment from Monday to Sunday from 9:00 am to approximately 5:00 pm, other times are negotiable if desired. During the weekends there are limited possibilities for this in connection with the group ceremonies that take place then. These ceremonies are guided by Eva or Esther at the Innerlijke-reis location in Ede. If desired, at an additional cost, at the location near Zutphen.

Rape

During the truffle ceremony there is an option to use Rapé. This legal, sacred and shamanic snuff from the Amazon region consists of various medicinal plants, trees, leaves, seeds and other sacred ingredients. If you want to use this, you will be given this by one of the supervisors during the ceremony. For this, he or she uses a blowpipe to blow the snuff into your nose. They say using Rapé might realign and open your chakras. It can help improve your grounding, heals physical, emotional, mental and spiritual pain. Your third eye might be opened and decalcification of the pineal gland takes place. In addition, it might help you to let go of negative thoughts and energy.

Magic truffles in combination with Rapé could help purify your body and mind, improve your grounding and gain clear vision and focus.

Locations truffle ceremony

Characteristic of the locations where Innerlijke-reis organizes the truffle ceremonies is that they are atmospheric and quiet. Ceremonies are organized at two locations in Gelderland. We organize group ceremonies near Zutphen. The location is in a beautiful and rural spot. Individual ceremonies and duo sessions are held at our location in Ede.
