The Psilohuasca Ceremony

Upon arrival, you will be welcomed with a cup of tea after which you will be introduced to the participants and the guides of the Psilohuasca ceremony. An introduction will be given on the course of the ceremony and there is time to ask questions so you can start the ceremony with a feeling of ease. You will then be given the possibility to change clothes; preferably wear white or light clothing.

The ceremony will be held in an atmospheric space which contains a mattress and a blanket for each participant allowing you to comfortably lie down. The ceremony starts with a short prayer for the Psilohuasca and the establishment of your intentions. During the journey, you will be carried away by accompanying music and you will be supported by loving, experienced guides. All guides of Innerlijke-reis have a therapeutic and/or nursing background. They are further familiar with spiritual and energetic work and have a lot of experience in life, in drinking Psilohuasca/Ayahuasca and in guiding ceremonies.

The individual process of each participant is the starting point and the guidance will be matched to the need at that time.

On average, an Psilohuasca ceremony lasts between 6 and 8 hours. After the ceremony, fresh soup with bread and a fruit salad will be served and there is room to discuss the experiences.

After an intense journey, it often takes a bit longer to feel grounded again. Sensitive individuals may need more time for this, and some processes take longer than others. Our experience is that most participants feel tired after the ceremony, and it is not safe to take to the road while still processing all the impressions of the experience. Staying overnight at the location can provide a great deal of rest.

Innerlijke-reis therefore strongly advises that you arrange to be picked up after the ceremony or stay overnight at the location. If you choose to drive home yourself, you do so entirely at your own risk.

Psilohuasca can hold up a mirror that can sometimes be very confrontational. When you participate in a journey, we assume that you are willing to look in the mirror. Innerlijke-reis feels a great responsibility towards the plant and we therefore expect every participant in a ceremony to respectfully handle the Psilohuasca.

The group ceremonies are held near to Zutphen, at a beautiful natural location. The individual and duo ceremonies are held at an atmospheric location in Ede.
